Cotton prices are experiencing fluctuations, with futures down 20 to 25 points as of Tuesday morning, following a peak of 15 to 20 points earlier. The December contract expired on Monday. In related markets, crude oil futures decreased by $1.23 per barrel, settling at $58.85.

For the week ending November 6, Dated Export Sales reported 292,146 RB of cotton sold, marking a record high for the marketing year and a 27.55% increase compared to the same week last year. Cotton shipments totaled 135,898 RB, down from the previous week. The 12/5 online auction also sold 3,670 bales at an average of 62.51 cents/lb, while the Adjusted World Price increased to 51.28 cents/lb, up 51 points from the prior week.
