Highlights of Tuesday’s Options Trading: HD, APP, WBD

Among the S&P 500 components, Home Depot Inc (HD) experienced significant options trading today, with 32,206 contracts traded, equating to approximately 3.2 million underlying shares. This figure represents about 60.1% of HD’s average daily trading volume of 5.4 million shares over the past month. The most active option was the $330 strike call, with 5,785 contracts trading, representing around 578,500 underlying shares.

Applovin Corp (APP) saw a total of 22,234 contracts traded, translating to approximately 2.2 million underlying shares, or 46.4% of the company’s average daily trading volume of 4.8 million shares. Notably, the $500 strike put option had 685 contracts traded today, representing about 68,500 underlying shares.

Warner Bros Discovery Inc (WBD) recorded options trading volume of 90,341 contracts, approximately 9.0 million underlying shares, which is 43.7% of its average daily volume of 20.7 million shares. The $29 strike call option was especially active with 51,476 contracts traded, equating to roughly 5.1 million underlying shares.
