MariMed, a leading cannabis company, is making a monetary donation to the Keep A Breast (KAB) Foundation through its Betty’s Eddies brand. This contribution will advance breast cancer awareness education and provide support to the millions of people affected by the disease.

As part of this initiative, Betty’s Eddies will launch redesigned product packaging and run a campaign to promote KAB’s mission of reducing breast cancer risk through education, with a specific focus on early detection. The campaign will take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

β€œEvery day, we hear from patients about how Betty’s Eddies helped them throughout their treatment journey,” said Sara Rosenfield, Betty’s Eddies brand manager. β€œOur partnership with the Keep A Breast Foundation honors those battling breast cancer and empowers people to pay attention to their health, including prevention and early detection.”

Ache Away Eddies

Betty’s Eddies will introduce a limited-time redesigned pink packaging for its popular Ache Away Eddies. These all-natural, cannabis fruit chews are handcrafted to provide various targeted effects. The cherry-flavored chews, infused with CBD, CBC, and THC, along with turmeric, piperine, and vitamin E, may help ease inflammation and aid recovery.

MariMed and Betty’s Eddies will promote the partnership by featuring the KAB app on the redesigned packaging and their social media channels. The KAB app is available on the Apple and Google Play Stores and offers education and advocacy for self-checking, as well as immediate access to medical professionals if necessary.

Customers in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Delaware can participate in the collaboration by purchasing the Ache Away Betty’s Eddies product at licensed dispensaries and downloading the KAB app for access to care.

Shaney Jo Darden, founder of the Keep A Breast Foundation, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, β€œWhen the Betty’s Eddies team approached us with this partnership idea, we were excited to reach even more people and encourage early detection. With recent research indicating the potential for cannabis to alleviate the painful side effects of cancer treatment, we saw this as the perfect partnership in support of our mission.”
