Nouveau Mond, with their outstanding Matawinie mine and Bécancour battery material plant projects, located within a 150-km radius of Montreal, has cemented their throne at the helm. The mine flexes its muscles with the capability to churn out 103,000 tonnes of graphite production averaging a minimum of 97% graphitic carbon (Cg). It proudly flaunts proven and probable reserves of 61.7 million tonnes grading 4.23% Cg, containing a whopping 2.6 million tonnes Cg.
The icing on the cake comes from the plant’s stellar performance, projecting a production of 43,000 tonnes of anode material and 3,000 tonnes of purified jumbo flakes annually, all boasting a purity of 99.95% Cg.
