Qualcomm Incorporated has launched the industrial-grade Dragonwing IQ-X Series processor, enhancing industrial PCs for smart manufacturing. Introduced recently, this processor provides up to 45 TOPS of AI performance and features configurations ranging from 8 to 12 high-performance cores, designed for extreme conditions with operational temperatures between -40°C and 105°C.
This new processor supports compatibility with standard hardware systems and a broad spectrum of software, notably on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Qualcomm has already secured partnerships with OEMs such as Advantech and NEXCOM for its application in factory automation and robotics.
