The iShares MSCI Peru and Global Exposure ETF (EPU) experienced significant trading activity on Tuesday, with over 288,000 shares traded, compared to its three-month average of approximately 90,000 shares. As a result, EPU’s shares rose by about 4.2% for the day.
Key performers within the ETF included Credicorp, which increased by 8.7% on trading volume exceeding 641,000 shares, and Buenaventura Mining, up 1.3% with over 722,000 shares traded. Intercorp Financial Services saw the most substantial gain at 10.6%, while Southern Copper lagged behind with a modest increase of 1.2%.
