Key Facts
Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is recalling over 355,000 trucks in the U.S. due to issues with the instrument display panel for the 2025-2026 F-Series models, including F-550, F-450, F-350, F-250, and F-150. This recall contributes to Ford’s larger issue, having announced a total of 105 recalls this year, representing 39% of all recalls in the U.S., with over 7 million vehicles recalled in 2025 alone.
Electrical system problems account for 23 of the recalls, while other significant issues include backover-prevention cameras (14) and powertrain problems (13). Notably, these recalls come amid rising warranty costs, which reached 4% of Ford’s revenue in Q2 2025, significantly higher compared to competitor General Motors’ 2.4%.
