IWP ETF Witnesses a Surge in Trading Volume
The iShares Russell Mid-Cap Growth ETF, under the ticker symbol IWP, experienced exceptionally high trading volume on Friday afternoon, with more than 5.2 million shares exchanged, surpassing its usual three-month average of 1.0 million shares. The ETF’s shares rose by approximately 1.2% during the trading day.
Palantir Technologies and Trump Media & Technology Group were among the top-traded components of the ETF on Friday. Palantir Technologies saw a decrease of about 1.7%, with over 44.1 million shares traded. Meanwhile, Trump Media & Technology Group witnessed an increase of about 7.6% on a trading volume exceeding 40.5 million shares. Microstrategy stood out as the best-performing component on Friday, soaring by about 13.2%. In contrast, Align Technology lagged behind, trading lower by approximately 3.1%.
