Consumer Discretionary Sector Shines as Tesla Surges

SPDR Fund ETF Posts Strong Gains, While Metals ETF Struggles

In trading on Thursday, the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF outperformed its peers, rising approximately 2.7%. Key contributors to this growth included shares of Tesla, which soared about 18.7%, and Pool, which increased roughly 5.8% on the day.

Conversely, the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF lagged behind other ETFs, decreasing about 1.3% in afternoon trading. Notably, shares of Newmont fell by approximately 10.5%, while Radius Recycling also faced declines, dropping about 5.3% on the same day.
