Oil & Gas and Shipping Stocks Struggle in Monday Trading

On Monday, both oil & gas exploration & production shares and shipping stocks saw declines in the market.

Oil & Gas Shares Take a Hit

The oil & gas sector lagged behind, dropping around 2% amid a challenging trading day. Borr Drilling faced a significant decline, falling approximately 11.3%. W&T Offshore also contributed to the downturn, decreasing by about 4.2%.

Shipping Industry Faces Challenges

Shipping stocks, in a similar fashion, also struggled, down about 0.7% collectively. Frontline led this group downward with a decrease of around 2.6%, while Ardmore Shipping was just behind, falling approximately 2.5%.
