Recent data from ETF Channel reveals notable activity in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) over the past week, with major outflows seen for several funds.
Direxion Daily Semiconductor ETF Faces Major Withdrawal
The Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL) experienced the largest overall decrease, losing 7,800,000 units. This marks a 2.3% decline compared to the previous week. Amid this drop, key companies like Advanced Micro Devices saw a decrease of about 2.1%, while Analog Devices fell approximately 1.4% during morning trading.
On a percentage basis, the ProShares Short SmallCap600 faced the most significant outflow, with a loss of 210,000 units. This represents a staggering 34.2% decrease in outstanding units from the week before.
