MMM Leads Dow Jones Performance While Apple Falters

In early trading on Wednesday, shares of 3M Company (MMM) emerged as one of the strongest performers in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, climbing 1.4%. This increase contributes to a solid year-to-date gain of 14.6% for MMM.

In contrast, Apple Inc. leads the negative performance, with shares trading down 0.9%. For the year so far, Apple’s stock has dropped about 6.6%, indicating ongoing challenges for the tech giant.

Additionally, two other notable Dow components are also seeing movement today. International Business Machines (IBM) is experiencing a decrease, trading down 0.8%, while Travelers Companies (TRV) is up 1.3% on the day, showcasing varying performance across sectors.
