In early trading on Wednesday, Walmart (WMT) emerged as a standout performer among the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, showing a 5.0% increase. Despite this gain, Walmart’s value has decreased by approximately 5.0% year to date.

Conversely, Merck & Co (MRK) has been the worst performer in the Dow on this day, experiencing a decline of 2.5%. Over the course of the year, Merck has seen a significant drop of about 22.6% in its stock price.

Additionally, other notable movements today include Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), which is down 2.4%, and NVIDIA Corp (NVDA), rising 4.5% in the same trading session.
