In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Verizon Communications emerged as the top performers among the Dow Jones Industrial Average, rising by 1.6%. Currently, Verizon has achieved a year-to-date gain of 9.1%.

In contrast, Nike is the worst performer for the day, with its shares declining by 3.8%. Year-to-date, Nike’s stock has plummeted approximately 26.8%.

Additionally, two other components are making notable moves today. NVIDIA is trading down 3.7%, while Caterpillar has seen a slight uptick, gaining 0.5% so far.
