Market Rebound and Upcoming Fed Decision Highlight Economic Landscape
After facing significant declines earlier this month, the major indices have rallied with remarkable strength. The S&P 500 and Dow experienced gains for nine consecutive days, marking the S&P 500’s first such achievement in 20 years.
Several key economic reports, optimism surrounding tariffs, and solid earnings announcements have contributed to this positive shift on Wall Street.
This week, the focus will be on the Federal Reserve. The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting begins Tuesday, followed by an expected interest rate decision on Wednesday.
Currently, the CME FedWatch Tool indicates a 96.9% likelihood that the Fed will maintain current interest rates. However, I believe it would be a major oversight if the Fed does not implement a rate cut during this meeting. I’ve discussed my reasoning in earlier Market 360 articles here and here. If they choose not to cut rates, it suggests a disconnect from the prevailing data trends. I predict four rate cuts this year, primarily due to the global decline in interest rates observed in Europe.
Amid this uncertainty and volatility, you might be considering the classic investment strategy: “Sell in May and go away.”
In this week’s episode of Navellier Market Buzz, I will explain this strategy and outline why it may not be the best approach. We’ll also preview critical economic reports due this week and highlight major companies set to release their earnings. Additionally, I will address questions from subscribers, including one focusing on Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI).

Preparing for an Economic Shift
This week primarily focuses on the Fed. However, there is a significant economic shift occurring that many may not fully recognize. In my four decades on Wall Street, I have not witnessed a transformation quite like this.
I refer to this phenomenon as The Economic Singularity.
This shift represents an economic transformation so profound that it holds the potential to create significant wealth for those who grasp its implications. Conversely, the unprepared may face severe financial repercussions.
I intend to clarify the importance of this shift and how to best prepare for it.
To provide a detailed explanation, I have produced this new video to discuss why this matters and how you can navigate the impending economic changes reshaping America’s financial landscape.
