Significant ETF Outflows: iShares and Direxion Lead the Decline

Analyzing the latest data on units outstanding for ETFs monitored by ETF Channel, significant outflows are evident. The most notable decrease occurred in the iShares Core S&P Total U.S. Stock Market ETF (ITOT), which saw a reduction of 6,500,000 units, marking a 1.2% decline from the previous week. As of this morning, notable stocks within ITOT include Microsoft, which has risen approximately 0.4%, while Apple has experienced a decline of about 1%.

Looking at percentage changes, the Direxion Daily NVDA Bear 1X Shares ETF recorded the largest outflow. It lost 2,150,000 units, translating to a substantial 37.9% decrease in outstanding units compared to the prior week.
