The iShares MSCI Global Metals & Mining Producers ETF (PICK) recorded over 807,000 shares traded on Thursday, significantly above its three-month average of approximately 267,000. The ETF was up 1.4% for the day.
Notable components of the ETF included Cleveland-Cliffs, with a decline of 4.6% and over 19.9 million shares traded, and MP Materials, which rose 1.2% with more than 9.8 million shares changing hands. Freeport-McMoRan performed best among the components, gaining 4% on Thursday.
