Significant options trading activity has been observed among key components of the S&P 500 index today, particularly in Netflix Inc (NFLX), Meta Platforms Inc (META), and Tesla Inc (TSLA).

As of now, Netflix has recorded 47,515 contracts traded, equating to about 4.8 million underlying shares, representing 150.1% of its average daily trading volume of 3.2 million shares over the past month. The highest volume was for the $1185 strike put option expiring June 13, 2025, with 2,757 contracts trading.

In comparison, Meta’s options volume stands at 156,832 contracts today, amounting to roughly 15.7 million underlying shares, or 125.2% of its monthly average of 12.5 million shares. The most active option is the $720 strike call expiring June 13, 2025, with 10,273 contracts traded. Meanwhile, Tesla has seen 1.4 million contracts changing hands, representing about 137.4 million underlying shares, or 115.6% of its average daily trading volume of 118.9 million shares, with the $300 strike call option drawing particularly high interest with 58,847 contracts traded.
