The soybean market experienced declines on Wednesday, with contracts falling by 18 to 21.5 cents. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price decreased by 21 cents, settling at $9.79 1/4. Soymeal futures saw reductions between $2.80 and $4.80 per ton, while soy oil dropped by 22 to 35 points.
Forecasts predict rainfall exceeding one inch across the Northern Plains to the Eastern Corn Belt in the coming week, which could ease pressure on the market. Export sales data, expected to be released on Thursday, anticipates sales between 200,000 and 600,000 MT of soybeans for the 2024/25 shipment.
The June Acreage report, due on Monday, is projected to show 83.5 million acres of soybeans planted, consistent with the March Planting Intentions report, with estimates ranging from 82 to 85 million acres.
