Soybean prices fell 3 to 10.25 cents on Tuesday, with the cmdtyView national average cash bean price dropping 8.75 cents to $9.81. Soymeal futures declined by $1.30 to $1.90 per ton, while soy oil saw slight gains of 4 to 18 points.
The USDA reported a private export sale of 144,000 metric tons of soybean meal to the Philippines, with 97,000 MT for the 2024/25 marketing year and 47,000 MT for 2025/26. As of Sunday, 32% of the U.S. soybean crop was reported as blooming, slightly ahead of the 31% average, while condition ratings remained steady at 66% good/excellent.
The EU Commission expects soybean imports for the 2024/25 marketing year to reach 14.52 million metric tons, an increase from 13.2 million metric tons the previous year.
