Wednesday’s Spotlight: MDIV ETF Sees Notable Volume Surge

The First Trust Multi-Asset Diversified Income Index Fund ETF (MDIV) experienced unusually high trading volume on Wednesday, with over 1.6 million shares exchanged, significantly higher than its three-month average of approximately 85,000 shares. On the same day, MDIV shares fell by about 0.2%.

Among the ETF’s components, Huntington Bancshares led with over 19.2 million shares traded, down by 0.2%. Pfizer also showed significant activity with over 13.9 million shares traded, increasing by about 0.8%. Bristol-Myers Squibb was the top performer in the ETF, rising by 1.8%, while Prudential Financial saw a decline of approximately 1.6%.
