Berkshire Hathaway’s Trillion-Dollar Status and Market Performance

Berkshire Hathaway’s recent financials show operating earnings declined by approximately 4% year-over-year due to foreign exchange fluctuations, despite strong performance from its operating businesses. The conglomerate holds about $344 billion in cash and short-term investments, and its stock portfolio is valued around $292 billion, indicating that its operating businesses are priced at approximately 11.6 times earnings.
