Nokia has announced a strategic partnership with Supermicro to enhance cloud and data center networking solutions focused on AI optimization. This collaboration aims to address the growing demands of AI and cloud workloads by integrating Supermicro’s 800G Ethernet switching hardware with Nokia’s Service Router Linux (SR Linux) Network Operating System and Event-Driven Automation (EDA) platform.
This partnership is designed to streamline the network lifecycle—from initial design through deployment to ongoing operations—thereby reducing deployment time and operational costs. Nokia’s technologies will now be used to support enterprises and communication service providers (CSPs) in building high-performance, autonomous networks.
In addition to this partnership, Nokia recently contracted with Extreme Broadband to boost AI data center performance in Malaysia, aligning with the nation’s National Cloud Computing Policy.
