In the week ending October 17, ethanol production increased by 38,000 barrels per day to 1.112 million barrels per day, nearing record levels. Ethanol stocks decreased by 709,000 barrels to 21.919 million barrels, while ethanol exports rose by 22,000 barrels per day to 130,000 barrels. The USDA has delayed the weekly Export Sales report due to the government shutdown, with estimated corn sales ranging from 0.8 to 2 MMT for the week ending October 16.
