The USDA reported a pork carcass cutout value increase of $2.95 to $102.66 per cwt. Estimated federally inspected hog slaughter on Wednesday reached 486,000 head, bringing the weekly total to 1.958 million head, which is 2,000 head lower than the previous week but 10,624 head higher than the same week last year.
