Highlighting Thursday’s Significant Options Activity: VEEV, COP, JBLU

Among the components of the Russell 3000 index, significant options trading activity was reported today for Veeva Systems Inc (VEEV), with 7,585 contracts exchanged, totaling approximately 758,500 underlying shares, or 42.2% of its average daily trading volume of 1.8 million shares. Notably, the $260 strike put option expiring December 19, 2025, saw 1,608 contracts traded, equivalent to about 160,800 shares.

ConocoPhillips (COP) experienced a trading volume of 29,301 contracts, representing approximately 2.9 million underlying shares, which is 42.1% of its average daily volume of 7.0 million shares. The $80 strike put option expiring January 16, 2026, attracted 4,856 contracts, corresponding to around 485,600 shares.

JetBlue Airways Corp (JBLU) reported a total options volume of 65,229 contracts, equivalent to 6.5 million underlying shares, about 41.8% of its average daily trading volume of 15.6 million shares. Among these, the $5 strike put option expiring December 12, 2025, was particularly active with 20,540 contracts traded, representing approximately 2.1 million shares.
