Wheat Finishes Wednesday with Modest Increases

On Wednesday, March 26, the wheat market saw a slight rebound, with Chicago SRW futures gaining 2 cents and closing at $5.12 1/2 per bushel. Kansas City HRW futures also rose by 2 to 3 cents, while MPLS spring wheat posted fractional gains. The 7-day NOAA forecast indicates little precipitation for the Southern Plains and light totals in the SRW area.

Export sales data, scheduled for release on Thursday, is anticipated to show 100,000 to 450,000 metric tons for the 2025/26 wheat bookings, with 0-50,000 metric tons expected for 2026/27. Additionally, FranceAgriMer projects the French soft wheat ending stocks to be at 2.8 million metric tons, a slight increase from the previous month.
