Micron Technology’s Market Dominance
Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) has sold out its entire inventory of DRAM and HBM memory chips for the 2026 calendar year before the end of 2025. This demand is fueled by the need for high-speed data access essential for artificial intelligence computations, with Micron being one of the only three companies globally providing these critical components.
The company is planning to enhance its manufacturing capacity with over $200 billion committed to expanding its Virginia facility and developing new fabrication sites in Idaho and New York. Currently, Micron’s valuation stands at 5.5 times forward sales and 11 times forward earnings, indicating it remains a reasonable investment despite its significant stock price increase in 2025.
