Nvidia Surpasses $4.3 Trillion Market Cap Amid AI Boom
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has become the world’s most valuable public company, achieving a market capitalization of over $4.3 trillion as of January 21. The company has seen a remarkable 1,230% increase in stock value over the past five years, which translates to a $1,000 investment made then being worth approximately $13,320 today.
This surge is largely attributed to Nvidia’s dominance in the AI hardware market. The company’s data center revenue skyrocketed from $4.8 billion five years ago to $51.2 billion in the latest quarter. Despite a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of around 44.1, investors continue to favor Nvidia as a key player in the ongoing AI boom.
