PACCAR Q4 Earnings Align with Expectations Despite Year-over-Year Revenue Drop

PACCAR Inc. (PCAR) reported fourth-quarter earnings for 2025 of $1.06 per share, aligning with the Zacks Consensus Estimate but down from $1.66 per share a year earlier. Consolidated revenues reached $6.8 billion, a decline from $7.91 billion in the same quarter of 2024. Sales from Trucks, Parts, and Others amounted to $6.25 billion.

In the Trucks segment, revenues totaled $4.52 billion, down from $5.69 billion year-over-year but exceeding the estimate of $4.43 billion. Global truck deliveries were 32,900 units, surpassing projections but significantly lower than 43,900 units delivered in Q4 2024. Pre-tax income in this segment dropped 81.2% to $94.6 million. The Parts segment saw revenues increase to $1.74 billion while Financial Services revenues rose to $568.7 million.

As of December 31, 2025, PACCAR’s cash and marketable debt securities stood at $9.25 billion, down from $9.65 billion at the same time in 2024. Projections for capex and R&D expenses in 2026 are set between $725-$775 million and $450-$500 million, respectively.
