In trading on Friday, precious metals shares declined by approximately 1.5%, significantly impacted by Drdgold, which fell 8.5%, and Orla Mining, down 7.9%.
Additionally, general contractors and builders also underperformed, with the sector down around 0.8%. LGI Homes experienced a 1.8% drop, while Dream Finders Homes fell by 1.6%.
