O’Reilly Reports Q4 Earnings Below Expectations Despite Year-over-Year Revenue Growth

O’Reilly Automotive, Inc. (ORLY) reported fourth-quarter 2025 adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of 71 cents, slightly missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 72 cents but showing an increase from 66 cents in the prior-year quarter. The company registered revenues of $4.41 billion, surpassing the estimate of $4.40 billion, reflecting a year-over-year growth of 7.8%. Comparable store sales grew by 5.6%, and O’Reilly opened 47 new stores, bringing the total store count to 6,585 as of December 31, 2025.

The company’s operating income rose to $829 million, up 12% from the previous year, while net income reached $605 million, up from $551 million in Q4 2024. O’Reilly repurchased 5.2 million shares for $500 million at an average price of $96.69 per share during the quarter, with an additional 1.4 million shares repurchased through February 4, 2026. Looking ahead, O’Reilly estimates total revenue for 2026 to be between $18.7 billion and $19 billion, with expected EPS in the range of $3.10-$3.20.
