Nvidia and Palantir Report Strong Results Amid AI Adoption
Nvidia reported record revenue of $68.1 billion for its fiscal 2026 second quarter, ending January 25, 2026, a 73% increase year-over-year and surpassing analyst expectations of $66.2 billion. Adjusted earnings per share rose 82% to $1.62, driven largely by the data center segment, which grew 75% year-over-year to $62.3 billion due to ongoing AI adoption.
Palantir Technologies also reported robust results, with fourth-quarter revenue increasing 70% year-over-year to $1.4 billion and adjusted earnings of $0.16 per share, up 78%. Its U.S. commercial segment, bolstered by the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), saw revenue jump 137% to $507 million, with customer numbers up 64%. Total contract value grew 67% to $1.34 billion, and remaining performance obligations soared 143% to $4.21 billion, indicating strong future demand.
