Soybean Prices Decline on Tuesday Morning

Soybean futures are trading down by 3 to 4 cents on Tuesday morning, following Monday’s losses of 2 to 4 cents. As of now, the March contract is down 36,209 contracts, leading to an overall open interest decline of 9,956 contracts. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price has decreased by 3 1/4 cents to $10.69. Soymeal futures are down $1 to $2.50, while soy oil futures are up 47 to 61 points.

According to the USDA’s FGIS, soybean export shipments totaled 669,865 metric tons (24.61 million bushels) for the week ending February 19, which is 44.9% lower than the previous week and 23.8% less than the same week last year. China was the primary destination, receiving 344,885 metric tons, followed by Mexico with 98,686 metric tons and Egypt with 52,839 metric tons. Cumulative exports for the 2025/26 marketing year stand at 25.033 million metric tons, reflecting a 32.2% drop compared to the previous year.
