Nvidia to Launch Open-Source AI Platform
Nvidia is set to unveil an open-source platform named NemoClaw for controlling AI agents during its GPU Technology Conference (GTC) next week. The platform aims to help companies deploy AI agents capable of performing complex, multi-step tasks autonomously. Nvidia has reached out to major tech companies, including Alphabet, Salesforce, and Adobe, for potential partnerships.
CEO Jensen Huang stated that the use of AI agents increases token consumption by 1,000 times, highlighting the significant computational demand met by Nvidia’s graphics processing units (GPUs). The launch of NemoClaw follows the success of OpenClaw, the most downloaded open-source software in history, which was released last year but faced security concerns that Nvidia aims to address with enhanced privacy tools in its new platform.
