Reliance, Inc.’s subsidiary, AMI Metals, has secured contracts totaling approximately $2.89 billion related to U.S. government infrastructure and defense programs. The first contract, valued up to $2.24 billion, is a multi-year agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for steel and logistics support services along the Southwest U.S. border, scheduled from February 11, 2026, to December 31, 2028.

The second contract is a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) agreement worth up to $654 million with Lockheed Martin, focused on processing aluminum plates for defense programs, including the F-35 Lightning II. This contract will run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028.

The new contracts expand AMI’s backlog in the aerospace and defense supply chain, contributing to a 10.5% rise in shares of Reliance, Inc. over the past year, compared to the industry’s average 52.4% increase.
