Nvidia’s shares have surged 977% since the commercial launch of ChatGPT on November 30, 2022, propelling its market capitalization over $4 trillion, making it the world’s most valuable company. The semiconductor giant reported $216 billion in revenue for fiscal 2026, a 65% increase year-over-year, driven mainly by its data center business supported by substantial investments from AI hyperscalers like Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta Platforms.
These tech companies are projected to spend over $600 billion on capital expenditures in 2026, boosting Nvidia’s prospects as its Blackwell GPUs and CUDA software have become essential in AI infrastructure. Nvidia has been investing strategically across various sectors, including a $5 billion investment in Intel and partnerships with Palantir Technologies and Nokia, positioning itself for future growth in AI-driven markets.
