Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Rivian Automotive Inc (RIVN) saw significant options trading with 221,655 contracts exchanged, accounting for approximately 22.2 million underlying shares, or 85.2% of its average daily trading volume of 26 million shares. Notably, the $16 strike call option expiring March 20, 2026, recorded a high volume of 21,399 contracts.

Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (ITW) also experienced heightened options activity with 10,777 contracts traded, representing about 1.1 million underlying shares, or 80.4% of its average daily volume of 1.3 million shares. The $290 strike put option, expiring March 20, 2026, saw particularly strong interest with 5,000 contracts traded.

Additionally, Resources Connection Inc (RGP) recorded options trading of 2,863 contracts, representing approximately 286,300 underlying shares, or 76% of its average daily trading volume of 376,760 shares. The $5 strike call option expiring April 17, 2026, attracted considerable attention with 1,553 contracts traded.
