Amazon’s Growth Forecast with AWS
Amazon, led by CEO Andy Jassy, aims to significantly increase its AWS cloud revenue, projecting it could reach $600 billion annually within the next decade, double its previous forecast of $300 billion. This shift is attributed to the rising demand for AI-related services. Currently, AWS generated $128.7 billion in 2025, accounting for 18% of Amazon’s total revenue and 57% of its operating income.
With Amazon’s e-commerce sales expected to grow from $588 billion in 2025 to $864 billion by 2030, the company’s total revenue could soar to approximately $1.15 trillion by then. If Amazon maintains its current price-to-sales ratio, its stock price could increase by 61%, reaching $338 per share, resulting in a market cap of about $3.59 trillion.
Amazon plans to invest $200 billion in capital expenditures over the coming year to expand its data center capacity, a move interpreted as a strategy to meet existing demand more efficiently.
