Soybeans experienced a decline on Friday, with the cmdtyView national average cash price dropping by 6.25 cents to $10.87. Soymeal futures fell between $5.20 and $5.50, while soybean oil futures gained 24 to 25 points.
As of March 12, USDA export sales data reported soybean export commitments at 36.79 million metric tons (MMT), marking a 19% decrease compared to the previous year and only 86% of the USDA’s 2025/26 estimate. Shipments totaled 28.055 MMT, representing 65% of the USDA’s projection and trailing behind the average pace of 81%.
In Argentina, the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange reported that 38% of the soybean crop is rated as good/excellent, a 3% increase from the previous week.
