POSCO Holdings, Inc. has secured a contract worth approximately KRW 1.0149 trillion with its subsidiary, POSCO Future M, for artificial graphite anode materials. This five-year agreement, running from 2027 to 2032, highlights sustained demand in the electric vehicle (EV) market for high-performance materials essential for lithium-ion batteries.
The contract enables POSCO Future M to strengthen its capabilities and evolve from a domestic supplier to a global leader in anode materials, directly addressing the growing global EV demand. Additionally, the company approved an investment of about KRW 357 billion for an artificial graphite anode plant in Vietnam, laying a foundation for significant growth and capacity expansion in the coming years.
