Broadcom’s artificial intelligence (AI) revenue surged 106% in Q1 2026, reaching $8.4 billion, as the company’s niche application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) dominate the market. CounterPoint Research projects that Broadcom will hold an estimated 60% of the ASIC market by next year. The company anticipates further growth, forecasting AI revenue of $10.7 billion in Q2 2026, a 143% increase from the previous year.
Nvidia’s Market Leadership
Nvidia continues to lead the AI processor market with an 86% share in data center chips, generating nearly $194 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2026, marking a 68% increase. Recent statements from CEO Jensen Huang suggest AI processors could bring in $1 trillion in revenue by 2027, supported by major tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon, which are set to spend $650 billion on AI infrastructure this year.
Micron Technology’s Revenue Growth
Micron Technology reported a staggering revenue increase of nearly threefold in the second quarter, amounting to $23.9 billion, driven by heightened demand for memory in data centers. The company’s earnings per share skyrocketed to $12.07, supported by a $200 billion investment plan for new manufacturing facilities in the U.S. to meet the surge in demand.
