As of now, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) comprises 18.1% of Berkshire’s portfolio, valued at approximately $56.4 billion. Meanwhile, American Express (NYSE: AXP) accounts for a 22% stake, and Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) makes up 9.7% of the portfolio.
Apple, known for its customer loyalty and ecosystem, is trading at 32 times forward earnings. American Express, often backed by affluent customers, has shown resilience and offers a 1.3% forward dividend yield. Coca-Cola, with a longstanding 64-year history of dividend growth, has delivered total returns of 3,580% since Berkshire’s initial investment in 1988, slightly underperforming the S&P 500’s total return of 3,700% during that period.
