AMD and Intel Performance Overview
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reported a 34% increase in fourth-quarter revenue year-over-year, reaching a record $10.3 billion, while its data center segment revenue surged 39% to $5.4 billion. For full-year 2025, AMD’s revenue climbed 34% to $34.6 billion, with data center revenue increasing 32% to $16.6 billion. The company anticipates first-quarter 2026 revenue of approximately $9.8 billion, indicating a 32% year-over-year growth.
In contrast, Intel’s data center and AI segment grew 9% year-over-year in Q4, but overall revenue declined 4% to $13.7 billion. Intel’s full-year 2025 revenue remained flat at $52.9 billion, and the company faces multiple operational challenges. Despite a cheaper market valuation, AMD presents a more stable investment as it capitalizes on the AI compute build-out with existing growth momentum.
