Walmart Inc (WMT) experienced significant trading activity today, with a total of 86,856 options contracts exchanged, equating to approximately 8.7 million underlying shares. This volume represents 52.7% of its average daily trading volume of 16.5 million shares over the past month. Notably, high volume was recorded for the $132 strike call option expiring on May 1, 2026, with 6,401 contracts traded, impacting around 640,100 underlying shares.

Palantir Technologies Inc (PLTR) also saw considerable options trading, with 235,387 contracts traded, representing 23.5 million underlying shares. This activity constitutes 48.9% of its average daily volume of 48.1 million shares. The $148 strike call option, expiring on May 1, 2026, accounted for 16,968 contracts, equivalent to about 1.7 million underlying shares.

International Paper Co (IP) had 32,953 options contracts traded, which translates to approximately 3.3 million underlying shares, or 48.2% of its average daily volume of 6.8 million shares. The highest volume was recorded for the $32.50 strike call option expiring on June 18, 2026, with 10,500 contracts, representing around 1.1 million underlying shares.
