On Thursday, soybean trading experienced losses, with prices down 2 to 4 cents across most contracts. The cmdtyView national average cash bean price fell by 3 1/4 cents to $11.34 1/2. Soymeal futures decreased by 80 cents to $1.30, while soy oil futures were down by 2 to 12 points.
Recent USDA export sales data revealed 351,423 MT of soybean sales for the 2025/26 crop year, exceeding estimates of 150,000 MT to 450,000 MT and marking a 14.12% increase compared to the same week last year. New crop sales reached 172,729 MT, a marketing year high, which contributes to total new crop sales of 509,642 MT, still half of last year’s figures. Soybean meal sales were reported at 492,229 MT, within the expected range, while bean oil sales hit 1,042 MT, also in line with forecasts.
