Apple to Unveil New Siri at WWDC on June 8
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is set to launch a major update to its Siri voice assistant during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8, marking a significant overhaul since its introduction in 2011. The updated Siri will reportedly be “always on,” capable of locating personal data across Apple devices and equipped with agentic features for task automation, along with a dedicated app for accessing historical conversations.
Last year, Apple stock rose 53%, outperforming the S&P 500, following underwhelming AI updates at WWDC 2022. Investors are anticipating stronger AI features this year, which could further elevate stock performance and user loyalty. The tech giant previously faced criticism for Siri’s lagging capabilities against competitors like Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s AI developments.
