Wheat Prices Decline on Thursday

The wheat market is experiencing declines on Thursday, following gains from Wednesday. Chicago SRW contracts are down 10 to 11 cents, while KC HRW futures have lost 11 to 12 cents. MPLS spring wheat is also facing a decrease of 5 to 6 cents as the market prepares to close for Juneteenth on Friday.

Export Sales data released shows total wheat sales for the week ending June 11 at 400,844 metric tons (MT) for the 2026/27 season, which falls within the anticipated range of 300,000 to 700,000 MT but marks a 6.16% decrease from the same week last year. Additionally, 26,900 MT were reported for the 2027/28 season.

Current wheat prices include July CBOT Wheat at $6.02 ½, down 10 ¼ cents; September CBOT Wheat at $6.10 ¾, down 10 ½ cents; July KCBT Wheat at $6.41 ½, down 11 cents; and July MIAX Wheat at $6.19 ½, down 6 cents.
