Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL) has seen a remarkable 129% surge in its stock price over the past three months, driven by its significant role in the AI infrastructure market. The company’s custom chips, known as application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), are projected to see a revenue increase of over 100% in the next fiscal year, compared to a 20% rise in the current year. Additionally, Marvell anticipates its data center interconnect business will grow by 70% this year.

As companies ramp up AI data center deployments, Marvell’s total addressable market in this sector is expected to reach $94 billion by 2028, with the company aiming to capture 20%, translating to nearly $19 billion in revenue. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs projects that optical networking component sales will increase nine-fold in the next two years, indicating strong growth prospects for Marvell’s interconnect solutions. However, Marvell’s stock currently trades at a high valuation, with a trailing earnings multiple of 94.
