**Nvidia Expands Focus on Networking Amid AI Growth**
Nvidia has shifted its strategy beyond GPUs to include data center networking infrastructure, which is critical for supporting growing AI workloads. The global data center market is projected to grow from $425 billion in 2023 to $902.2 billion by 2033. Data center power demands are expected to double from 2025 to 2027, reaching 66 gigawatts, according to Goldman Sachs.
Astera Labs has recently become a member of the Nasdaq-100 following a remarkable revenue increase of 93% year-over-year to $308.4 million in Q1 2023. The company’s net income rose to $80.3 million from $31.8 million in the same period last year. Similarly, Credo Technology reported Q4 2026 sales of $437 million, up 157% year-over-year, with net income of $226.7 million.
Nvidia’s market cap is currently $4.7 trillion, reflecting an 850% increase over the past five years. The company raised its quarterly dividend by 2,400% to $0.25 per share, projecting nearly $20 billion in CPU revenue this year.
